OCTOPUS (acronym for Outreach of Carmel TO Polytechnic and University Students) is the latest addition to Mt. Carmel's list of ministries.  We are a group of individuals from different walk of lives and profession with the desire to extend the love of our Lord Jesus Christ to the international students in our midst.  Whether they are studying in the nearby National University of Singapore (NUS), or in the far end of our island-country Nanyang Technological University (NTU), or in the city-campus of Singapore Management University (SMU), or in any of the tertiary institutions such as SIM, Singapore Polytechnic and other polytechnics, as long as they are away from their families in the home country, we are compelled to surround them with the warmth and love of Christian fellowship and to let them taste the goodness and love of our Lord Jesus through home-cooked meals, festive celebrations, fun-filled outings, to name a few.
